Joint Complex | Support for cartilage¹, connective tissue², and bones³
Joint Complex was developed with a carefully balanced blend of glucosamine, MSM (methylsulfonylmethane), chondroitin, hyaluronic acid, and native UC-II® type 2 collagen. The formula is supplemented with natural vitamin C from rosehip extract. Plant-based vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for normal cartilage and bone function¹, while manganese contributes to normal connective tissue formation². We thus rely on ingredients that occur naturally in our joints and bodily structures.
Innovative native type 2 collagen specifically for joints: Of particular note is the inclusion of UC-II®. This native type 2 collagen works through oral tolerance induction, an immunological mechanism that differs fundamentally from that of hydrolyzed collagen peptides and has been studied in several clinical trials on joint health. With 40 mg per daily dose, our complex contains exactly the clinically tested amount.⁵
Plant-based synergy and cellular protection against oxidative stress: Our joints perform amazing feats every day. However, intense exercise or stress can promote oxidative stress, in which free radicals damage the cells. This is where our formula comes in: BosFlex® (frankincense) and pine bark extract provide valuable boswellic acids and polyphenols. In naturopathy, they have long been valued for their beneficial properties. Highly bioavailable L-selenomethionine (selenium) completes the formula and, together with vitamin C, helps protect cells from oxidative stress⁴—an essential factor for an active lifestyle.

Frequently Asked Questions zu
What is the Joint Complex for?
Our Joint Complex was developed to provide the body with a synergistic matrix of building blocks that occur naturally in our joints and bodily structures. It is designed to deliver targeted nutrients to people who want to maintain their mobility in everyday life or support it during intense athletic activity. The vitamin C it contains contributes to normal collagen formation for normal cartilage and bone function¹, while manganese supports normal connective tissue formation². The combination with patented UC-II®, MSM, and hyaluronic acid offers a modern supplement for athletes as well as for anyone who values scientifically sound support for their natural mobility¹ and physical resilience.
What is UC-II® collagen and why is it special?
UC-II® is a patented, undenatured type 2 collagen. The key difference from conventional collagen hydrolysate lies in the manufacturing process: While ordinary collagen undergoes extensive processing, UC-II® retains its natural triple-helix structure. In scientific research, this “native” collagen is being studied for its interaction with the guts own immune system (Peyers patches)- a process known as “oral tolerance.” Unlike hydrolysates, which merely provide building blocks, UC-II® thus takes a systemic approach that has already been clinically studied at very low doses (40 mg).⁵
What is MSM (methylsulfonylmethane)?
MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) is an organic sulfur compound. Sulfur is a natural element found in almost all body cells as a component of important amino acids - particularly where proteins such as collagen or keratin are synthesized. In our complex, MSM serves as a source of this naturally occurring building block. The formula is supplemented with manganese, which has a scientifically proven role in normal connective tissue formation², as well as vitamin C, which supports normal collagen formation for healthy cartilage function.¹
What does hyaluronic acid do in the Joint Complex?
Sodium hyaluronate is the salt form of hyaluronic acid and is characterized by particularly high stability and purity. It is a substance naturally produced by the body that is best known for its impressive ability to bind large amounts of water. In the human body, sodium hyaluronate is found in high concentrations in synovial fluid, where it acts as a natural lubricant and buffer between joint surfaces. In our formula, we use a high-quality form to effectively supplement the matrix of cartilage building blocks and micronutrients.
What makes the combination of glucosamine, chondroitin, and UC-II® collagen so special?
The key lies in the 2-in-1 principle: While glucosamine and chondroitin - proven building blocks - form the foundation of cartilage, UC-II® complements this foundation with a modern approach. The native collagen serves as a targeted catalyst that naturally stimulates the body. It communicates with the immune system in the gut to support the body in a natural way. In this combination, proven classic nutrients meet an innovative method that - supplemented by vitamin C for normal cartilage function - offers a holistic approach to mobility.
What benefits do frankincense (BosFlex®) and pine bark extract offer in the formula?
The proprietary ingredient BosFlex® is characterized by a particularly high, standardized content of boswellic acids. In modern research, these are considered key components of frankincense for effectively supporting the bodys physiological balance under high stress. Pine bark extract complements this with natural polyphenols (OPC). In combination with selenium, these extracts help protect cells from oxidative stress.⁴
Can it be combined with other dietary supplements?
Yes, our Joint Complex is designed to integrate seamlessly into an existing routine. It is particularly beneficial to combine it with omega-3 fatty acids, as these perfectly complement the nutrient profile. It can also be easily combined with magnesium for muscle function or vitamin D3/K2 for bone health.
Who is this product particularly suitable for?
The formula was developed for people who want to specifically support their musculoskeletal system. This includes, in particular, athletes with high joint stress, active individuals, and people who want to maintain their natural mobility in everyday life. Thanks to the combination of vitamin C for cartilage and bone function¹ and manganese for connective tissue², the complex provides a scientifically sound foundation for physical resilience.
Are there any special considerations regarding use?
1) Individuals taking blood-thinning medications (coumarin anticoagulants) should consult a doctor, as glucosamine may enhance the effects of these medications.
2) Individuals with impaired glucose tolerance should regularly monitor their blood sugar levels when taking glucosamine supplements. Diabetics and individuals with metabolic disorders should consult a healthcare professional before use.
Does the product contain allergens?
The product does not contain any allergens. While glucosamine is typically derived from the shells of shellfish and may therefore contain potential allergens, we use a special, fermented glucosamine of plant origin. This makes our glucosamine allergen-free.
Is the Joint Complex vegetarian or vegan?
No, the product is neither vegetarian nor vegan. It contains chondroitin sulfate, which is derived from poultry, as well as type 2 collagen, which is derived from a chicken cartilage complex.
