Frequently Asked Questions zu
What are microorganisms?
Microorganisms are microscopic organisms, including, for example, bacterial cultures and yeasts. In scientific and microbiological contexts, various genera have been used for many years. Biotic combines various selected bacterial strains with the yeast culture Saccharomyces boulardii in a high-quality formulation.
What are lactobacilli and bifidobacteria?
Lactobacilli (Lactobacillus) and bifidobacteria (Bifidobacterium) are bacterial cultures that belong to the group of lactic acid bacteria and comprise numerous different strains. Depending on the strain, the properties of the cultures may differ in terms of processing, cultivation, and stability. Biotic uses selected representatives from both groups.
Why does Biotic contain different bacterial strains?
High-quality microorganism formulations often rely on a combination of different cultures. Each genus has its own characteristics in terms of cultivation, processing, and stability. That is why we combine selected strains in a diverse formulation.
What does CFU mean?
CFU stands for “colony-forming unit” and serves as a reference value for the number of viable microorganisms in a serving. Biotic provides a total of 47 billion CFUs per daily serving.
Does Biotic need to be refrigerated?
No, thanks to the Bio-Support™ technology used, the product is formulated for everyday use and does not necessarily need to be refrigerated. We nevertheless recommend storing the product in a dry place and away from direct heat to ensure proper storage.
What makes Biotic special?
Biotic contains premium microorganisms, with a total of 47 billion CFU per daily serving. A key feature is Bio-Support™ technology, which was developed to ensure the stability of the microorganisms during manufacturing and storage. The formula is gluten-free, non-GMO, and free of unnecessary additives.
