Was ist ?
The active ingredients derived from turmeric, saffron, and ginger have long been valued in various cultures and are used in numerous applications, including Ayurveda. Our Curcumin Complex combines these plant compounds with black pepper extract (BioPerine®) and vitamin C to create a modern, premium formula made with high-quality ingredients and a vegan formulation.
The formula was developed as a precisely standardized plant-based matrix that combines several key bioactive components. At the heart of the formula is Curcugreen®, a patented full-spectrum curcuminoid complex containing an essential turmeric fraction. As a result, the formula contains not only curcumin but also a broader spectrum of natural turmeric components.
The formula combines saffron extract with safranal and crocin, as well as ginger extract with 20% gingerol content. To optimize curcumin absorption, the complex also contains black pepper extract.¹ Vitamin C functionally complements the matrix, as it contributes to the normal function of the immune system², protects cells from oxidative stress³, and helps reduce tiredness and fatigue⁴.

Frequently Asked Questions zu
What exactly is turmeric?
Turmeric, also known as Curcuma longa, is a root plant belonging to the ginger family. It is particularly well known for its intense yellow color, which is primarily due to curcumin. Curcumin belongs to the group of curcuminoids and is one of the most extensively studied plant compounds found in turmeric root.
What ingredients make up the Curcumin Complex?
The Curcumin Complex combines turmeric, saffron, ginger, black pepper extract, and vitamin C in a precisely balanced plant-based matrix. At its core is Curcugreen®—a patented full-spectrum curcuminoid complex containing an essential turmeric fraction. The formula is supplemented with saffron extract containing safranal and crocin, ginger extract with 20% gingerol content, and black pepper extract to support curcumin absorption.¹
What is the difference between curcumin and curcuminoids?
Curcuminoids are a group of phytochemicals that occur naturally in turmeric root. Curcumin is the best-known and most extensively studied member of this group. Curcugreen® provides not only isolated curcumin, but a broader spectrum of curcuminoids.
What technologies do we use?
Modern science is conducting intensive research on turmeric, and curcumin in particular. The focus is often on bioavailability, as curcumin is poorly absorbed by the body. This has led to the development of technologies such as Curcugreen™ (BCM-95®) or BioPerine® to improve absorption.¹
Why did we choose Curcugreen®?
Curcugreen® is a patented full-spectrum curcuminoid complex that combines curcuminoids with turmeric essential oils, particularly turmerones. This formulation was developed to improve the bioavailability of curcumin and allow it to remain in the body longer.¹
How does Curcugreen® work?
Curcumin is difficult to absorb in its standard form. Curcugreen® combines curcuminoids with essential turmeric oils, particularly turmerones. These components are being scientifically studied in relation to the absorption and bioavailability of curcumin.⁵ ⁶
What does “standardized plant matrix” mean?
A standardized plant matrix means that the formulation consists not only of general plant powders, but of high-quality extracts with defined ingredients. Our complex focuses on several marker compounds: curcumin, curcuminoids, turmerones, gingerols, safranal, and crocin.
What role do safranal, crocin, and gingerols play?
Safranal and crocin are among the characteristic bioactive components of saffron. Gingerols are key plant compounds in ginger and define the natural profile of ginger extract. In the Curcumin Complex, these standardized extracts complement the Curcugreen® curcuminoid complex to form a modern multi-component formula.
Why does the Curcumin Complex contain black pepper extract (BioPerine®)?
Piperine from black pepper (BioPerine®) is a standardized extract containing at least 95% piperine, specifically selected to support the absorption of plant-based nutrients. BioPerine® is globally protected as an ingredient, patented, and completely natural.⁸
Why did we combine turmeric, ginger, and saffron?
Turmeric, ginger, and saffron are traditionally valued plant substances that have been used in various cultures for a long time. In the Curcumin Complex, they are not combined at random, but are used as standardized plant extracts with defined marker compounds: curcuminoids and turmerones from turmeric, gingerols from ginger, and safranal and crocin from saffron. The piperine contained in black pepper also supports the absorption and bioavailability of curcumin.¹
