Frequently Asked Questions zu
What is L-glutamine?
L-glutamine is an amino acid found in high concentrations in the human body and is frequently discussed in connection with the digestive tract. It is part of the daily amino acid intake and is primarily used by people who want to pay closer attention to their gut health, diet, and nutritional routine.
What are the functions of L-glutamine?
L-glutamine has always been an important building block for our bodies. This amino acid is involved in protein synthesis and serves as a building block for the neurotransmitters glutamate and GABA in the brain. L-glutamine also plays a role in energy production and intestinal regeneration and is required by the immune system in all muscles as well as in the mucosal cells of the digestive tract. Baobab, the fruit of the baobab tree, has been part of a species-appropriate diet in Africa for many generations. Rich in antioxidants and high in dietary fiber, baobab also has positive effects on digestion and, consequently, on the gut microbiome and the immune system.
Why do we combine L-glutamine and baobab?
The formula combines 8,000 mg of high-purity L-glutamine per daily dose with 2,000 mg of baobab fruit powder as a natural source of dietary fiber. While L-glutamine provides the amino acid component of the formula, baobab supplements the formula with plant-based fiber. The result is a carefully designed glutamine-fiber combination for your daily gut health routine. We believe that the combination of pure L-glutamine with fiber-rich baobab is optimal for gut health, the microbiome, digestion, and the immune system.
What role does baobab play in the formula?
Baobab is the fruit of the African baobab tree and is naturally rich in plant-based fiber and dietary fiber. Dietary fiber consists of indigestible plant components and is an important part of a mindful, gut-focused diet. In our formula, baobab complements the L-glutamine with precisely this plant-based component.
How is the L-glutamine powder produced?
The L-glutamine in our product is obtained through fermentation. We use plant-based raw materials to produce L-glutamine of high purity. Our powder contains L-glutamine in its free form and is of pharmaceutical grade. We also ensure that our baobab fruit powder is made from carefully selected raw materials, is of high quality, and undergoes regular laboratory testing.
How do you use fermentation to achieve the highest possible bioavailability?
The L-glutamine in our product is 100% derived through fermentation using bacteria, just as it would occur naturally in our intestines (AjiPure technology). This allows us to achieve the highest possible bioavailability.
Is the L-glutamine powder easy on the stomach?
Larger amounts of L-glutamine powder can cause digestive discomfort. In this case, you should consult your doctor or therapist. The recommended dosage should be followed.
Can the L-glutamine powder exacerbate allergic reactions?
There are no known allergic reactions to L-glutamine. Contaminants can also be ruled out due to the pharmaceutical purity of our product.
