MK-7 (menaquinone-7) is a particularly effective and long-lasting form of Vitamin K2.vitamin K2, which is particularly known for its positive effect on bone and cardiovascular system. It activates specific proteins such as Osteocalcin and Matrix GLA protein, which ensure that thestrong data-end="1036" data-start="1025">calcium is incorporated into the bones and not deposited in the arteries - an important protective mechanism against vascular calcification.
Thanks to their high bioavailability and long half-life, MK-7 is ideal for daily supplementation. Studies show that MK-7 can improve bone density, protect the heart and reduce the risk of osteoporosis. Especially in combination with vitamin D3, MK-7 unfolds its full effect in calcium metabolism and bone mineralisation.
