Proffee is a fitness-inspired beverage combining coffee with protein powder.
Originating from social media trends, proffee is promoted as a healthier alternative to sugar-laden coffee drinks, offering both caffeine for energy and protein to support muscle maintenance and recovery.
Typically made with whey protein or plant-based protein powders, Proffee supports muscle protein synthesis, while caffeine can enhance performance and fat oxidation. Due to its nutrient composition, it can also serve as a breakfast replacement, with protein and caffeine contributing to satiety.
From a nutritional standpoint, Proffee is beneficial when prepared with high-quality, low-sugar protein powders. Athletes often use it as a pre-workout drink to combine energy and nutrient intake in one beverage.
