L-Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in our body and important for the center of our immune system – the intestine. Our immune system is constantly active due to modern everyday life, especially with physical stress or a low-carbohydrate diet. Consequently, our body needs an increasing amount of glutamine.

L-Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in our body and important for the immune system as well as the intestines. However, today's lifestyle means that our immune system is constantly active and our glutamine consumption is very high, especially during physical exertion or low-carbohydrate diets. About half of the glutamine absorbed through food is used in our gastrointestinal tract.

L-Glutamine has always been an important building block for our organism. The amino acid is involved in building protein and serves as a building material for the neurotransmitters glutamate and GABA in the brain. L-Glutamine also plays a role in energy production and intestinal regeneration and is needed by the immune system in all muscles as well as the mucosal cells of the digestive tract. Baobab, the fruit of the baobab tree, has been part of the species-specific diet in Africa for many generations. Rich in antioxidants and high in fiber, Baobab also has positive effects on digestion and thus on the intestinal microbiome as well as the immune system.

We believe that the combination of pure L-Glutamine with Baobab, which is rich in fiber, is optimal for the gut, microbiome, digestion and immune system.

Glutamine is very easy to produce synthetically. A much higher quality and organic vmethod is fermentation. We only use the highest quality vegetable raw materials for the production of PRO'TECT. We guarantee the highest possible degree of purity (pharmaceutical grade) with the best biological availability at the same time.
