What is Nzym?
The importance of digestive enzymes cannot be underestimated.
NZYM is a carefully selected combination of 12 different enzymes, along with zinc and other trace elements. Zinc contributes to a normal acid-base metabolism and also helps protect cells from oxidative stress.1
The right enzymes can help bring the digestion process back into balance.
The enzymes in NZYM are derived from natural foods such as pineapple and papaya. Through gentle production and natural fermentation from plant sources, high product quality is achieved.
NZYM combines digestive enzymes like proteases with metabolic enzymes bromelain and papain. Proteases are a special group of digestive enzymes responsible for breaking down proteins into their components, the amino acids. In addition to common digestive enzymes, NZYM also contains metabolic enzymes bromelain and papain. These enzymes have special capabilities to support food processing and are particularly relevant after physical exertion. They also play a role in regulating inflammatory responses in the body, which is important for recovery and maintaining a healthy metabolism.

Frequently Asked Questions zu Nzym
What are Enzymes?
Enzymes are naturally occurring protein structures in the body that trigger chemical processes. As proteins, they have always played an essential role in metabolic processes in all living organisms. There is a very wide range of enzymes involved in various biochemical reactions.
What Functions Do Enzymes Have?
Enzymes are important for digestion and the breakdown of nutrients that are absorbed through food and made available for our metabolism. Under stress, fewer enzymes, such as those produced by the pancreas, are formed, which can disrupt digestion.
How Are Digestive Enzymes Formed?
Digestive enzymes are primarily produced in our body by the pancreas. 83% of the cells in this organ are responsible for this. The pancreas is often overloaded by frequent and carbohydrate-rich meals. Digestive enzymes help support and relieve this overworked organ. As we age, the number of enzymes produced decreases gradually.
What Makes NZYM Special?
NZYM contains a highly concentrated combination of 12 different types of enzymes, zinc, and other trace elements. The composition is designed based on the needs of modern humans and the natural mixture of enzymes that are formed in the body.
Why Might It Be Useful to Supplement Enzymes?
A healthy and species-appropriate diet contributes to general well-being and promotes digestion. Ideally, about 19 meals per week, a low-calorie density, and natural, fresh products like vegetables, fruits, nuts, or fish are recommended. In reality, however, the diet often looks different: we rely on ready-made meals, often eat more than is beneficial, and dont always pay attention to the necessary balance. This can make digestion difficult and lead to discomfort.
How Is NZYM Made?
As with all our products, we have based NZYM on the human body and the natural mixture of enzymes produced in the body. Therefore, NZYM contains the highest quality enzymes from species-appropriate foods, such as bromelain from pineapples and papain from papayas. The enzymes in our product are obtained using a biotechnological or microbial fermentation process.
How Does Enzymatic Fermentation Work for the NZYM Supplement by Artgerecht?
The enzymatic fermentation of vegetables and fruits is a biotechnological process in which specific microorganisms are used to release specific enzymes and bioactive compounds. The process begins with the careful preparation of the vegetables, which are washed and chopped to increase the surface area for the microorganisms. Specific bacterial strains are then added. These microorganisms ferment the natural sugars and carbohydrates in the vegetables, producing valuable enzymes that are important for the metabolism of nutrients in the human body. The fermentation takes place in a controlled environment, which is both temperature- and humidity-controlled, to ensure optimal conditions for the growth of the microorganisms.
After fermentation, the fermented vegetables are harvested and processed through various methods such as filtration, centrifugation, and drying to extract the desired enzymes. This step ensures that the enzymes are separated from solid components. Additional steps are taken to stabilize and preserve the bioactive compounds. The final product is a highly concentrated fermented extract or powder rich in enzymes, vitamins, minerals, and other bioactive substances.
How Can I Tell If I Am Lacking Enzymes?
A large portion of humanity does not produce enough enzymes or their function is inhibited by toxins from grains, legumes, seeds, and tubers. This can easily be noticed in the stool. If the stool is greasy, it indicates that fats are present that should not be there. If a toilet brush is needed, this suggests that digestion is insufficient. In case of persistent or long-lasting symptoms, it is advisable to consult a doctor.
