Ich habe Astaxanthin zunächst skeptisch begonnen, aber nach 8 Wochen bin ich vollständig überzeugt. Mein Teint ist gleichmäßiger, ich bin belastbarer im Alltag, und meine Nägel wachsen kräftiger. Bin sehr glücklich mit dem Produkt und werde es weiter empfehlen.

Astaxanthin ist ein besonders potentes Antioxidans, das durch seine chemische Struktur und natürlichen Eigenschaften beeindruckt. Als Mitglied der Carotinoide sticht es hervor, da es sowohl wasser- als auch fettlösliche Enden (auf molekularer Ebene) besitzt. Diese einzigartige Eigenschaft ermöglicht es Astaxanthin, Zellmembranen effektiv von innen und außen zu schützen, was es zu einem der leistungsstärksten Antioxidantien macht.
Mit seiner Fähigkeit, freie Radikale zu neutralisieren, zeigt es sich bis zu 6000-mal stärker als Vitamin C, etwa 550-mal stärker als Vitamin E und 11-mal stärker als Beta-Carotin. Besonders bemerkenswert ist, dass Astaxanthin effektiv gegen singlet Sauerstoff, eine der aggressivsten Formen von reaktiven Sauerstoffspezies (ROS), vorgeht und dabei selbst stabil bleibt. Diese Stabilität macht es langlebiger und wirkungsvoller als viele andere Antioxidantien.
Astaxanthin wird auf natürliche Weise von Mikroalgen wie Haematococcus pluvialis produziert. Für diese Algen dient es als Schutzmechanismus gegen starke UV-Strahlung und oxidativen Stress – Eigenschaften, die auch dem menschlichen Körper zugutekommen. Besonders interessant: Astaxanthin verleiht Tieren wie Lachsen, Shrimps oder Flamingos ihre charakteristische rote bis orange Farbe.
Dank seiner außergewöhnlichen Effizienz, Stabilität und Doppelfunktionalität – fett- und wasserlöslich (lipophilic und hydrophilic) – unterstützt Astaxanthin verschiedene Gewebe und Systeme im Körper.
