Manuka honey with its dark color is produced by honey bees from the flower nectar of the Manuka tree (South Sea myrtle). This grows in the pristine coastal forests known for it on the Australian east coast.

The dark Manuka honey is produced by honey bees from the flower nectar of the Manuka tree (South Sea myrtle). The plants grow in the pristine coastal forests of Australia's east coast and New Zealand that are known for them. The producer of our MA'NUKA is located north of Sydney, about 15 km behind the coastline. The methylglyoxal (MGO) makes the honey so special.
Honey is a primal food – humans have been using honey from bees to meet our needs since the earliest periods of human history.
Our MA'NUKA can be used, for example, as a natural sweetener, pure or in hot drinks, and for us it is an indispensable part of a species-appropriate cuisine. Because not only the MGO content makes MA'NUKA a special honey, but also the hundreds of other natural ingredients it contains.
What makes Manuka honey unique is its high methylglyoxal (MGO) concentration. There are over 900 mg of MGO per kilogram in our MA'NUKA.
Worldwide, 5 times more Manuka Honey is sold than is produced. We only source our MA'NUKA from assured sources to ensure our honey is genuine Manuka Honey. There are 83 species of Leptospermum (Manuka) in Australia, which means Manuka honey can always taste slightly different. Our honey comes from bee farms in Byron Bay and Coffs Harbour in Australia, where it is harvested by traditional beekeepers in remote and pristine Australian forests. When the honey can be harvested varies by region and vintage – much like the grape harvest.
The special feature of Manuka honey is the active ingredient methylglyoxal (MGO) it contains. This has been used by Australians since time immemorial. Our MA'NUKA contains over 900 mg/kg (900+) of MGO - conventional honey in comparison only about 20 mg/kg. Manuka honey has the highest MGO content of any honey in the world.

Ein Muss in jeder Hausapotheke
Den Honig habe ich seid ca. 3 Jahren immer im Haus. Gerade bei Halsschmerzen und Erkältung kommt er zum Einsatz! Ob wir schneller gesund werden, weiß ich nicht, aber er ist auf jeden Fall wohltuend. Ich möchte ihn nicht mehr missen !

ICH LIEBE ES!!
Das ist der aller allerbeste Honig den ich jemals hatte! Sobald ich merke, dass ich Krank werde, mache ich mir einen Ingwer-Zitronen Tee und füge ein Löffel von dem Manuka Honig hinzu und es hilft mir direkt! Ich Löffel den Honig auch meistens, da ich den einzigartigen Geschmack einfach nur Liebe! Ich habe den Honig damals Geschenkt bekommen und nun ist er auch schon leider fertig :(

zur Wundbehandlung unschlagbar!
Dieser Honig hat wahre Wunder bewirkt bei der Heilung einer sehr tiefen Wunde, die ausgerechnet an dem Bein mit chronischer Phlegmone (also ödematöses, sehr schlecht versorgtes Gebiet!) bei meinem noch dazu sehr alten Pferd war! Vielen Dank dafür!!! Sicherlich auch im Humanbereich zur Wundheilung zu empfehlen!
