Braydon Manu is currently a striker for our partner SV Darmstadt 98 and just last Saturday helped his club to victory against SSV Jahn Regensburg with a goal. In our interview, he reveals his team's recipe for success and how he recovers from training. Also: Braydon loves all our products - and you?
In style:
Last year, the Lilies missed out on promotion in a heartbreaking season finale, lost a number of top performers in the summer and six months later are once again leading the table as fall champions. A strong performance! In your opinion, what is your recipe for success?
Braydon:
Definitely the team spirit! Everyone gives each other everything. This season, the scoring has also been spread across several shoulders, and We've improved enormously as a team defensively and conceded one of the fewest goals.

How do you keep track of your nutritional balance?
Braydon:
We have had a nutritionist since this season, Dr. Mareike Groähauser, who gives us various helpful tips on how to improve our diet and achieve our goals as athletes. I also try to eat a balanced diet, of course.
In line with your style:
As a professional footballer, tough training sessions are the order of the day. What does your recovery look like after such a session?
Braydon:
After sessions, I like to go to the ice pool and then alternate between the ice pool and the hot tub. This helps with recovery, as does rolling out and stretching every day after training. I also try to go to bed early - which isn't always easy (laughs). I want to be in bed by 11 p.m. at the latest to get my 8 hours of sleep.

We are curious. You've been working with the supplements from artgerecht for half a season now. Do you have a favorite? If so, why?
Braydon:
No, I don't have any particular favorites. I like everything (laughs)!
