The isotonic formulation with an osmolarity profile of ~280 mOsm/l is precisely balanced. Osmolarity refers to the number of dissolved particles in a liquid. It influences how well fluids are absorbed by the body. Since the bodys own fluids, such as blood plasma, also have an osmolarity of around 280 mOsm/l, the formulation fits harmoniously into the bodys natural environment.
The PLUS formula also contains D-Ribose, a natural component of RNA, DNA, and coenzymes, as well as Vitamin B2 (riboflavin).
