health nerds – Der Podcast über artgerechtes Leben
Have you ever had a COVID-19 infection (or even several times) and are suffering from the long-term consequences? Or maybe you have been spared so far, but know someone who has been really knocked out by the disease? This episode of our health podcast is all about the potential long-term consequences of an infection with the coronavirus.
What exactly are the symptoms of post- and long-term Covid that many of us are currently struggling with or have already had to deal with? It is not uncommon for those affected to suffer from symptoms such as exhaustion, loss of smell and taste and gastrointestinal problems for months after the actual illness. In Germany alone, almost 25 million SARS-CoV-2 infections have now been officially confirmed, worldwide the figure is more than 500 million and the number of unreported cases is likely to be significantly higher. What does science now know about the long-term consequences and what can we ourselves do to prevent them? Daniel Reheis from the health nerds science team has the answers and brings us up to date with the latest research. He also provides personal tips, as Daniel also had COVID-19 and post-Covid. He gives us hope and says: „All those affected can get rid of their symptoms again“. How the sun helps us, which supplements support the body and why even the blood group has an impact on Long-Covid - we'll hear about it in this episode.
