Going am Wilden Kaiser, June 24, 2024 – A week ago, the 2nd WorldChanger tennis tournament in cooperation with the Alexander Zverev Foundation took place in the impressive surroundings of the 5-star Bio- & Wellnesshotel Stanglwirt. After its overwhelming success in 2023, the event returned under the motto ""Playing to help"" and once again brought together high-caliber celebrities and athletes to do good. WorldChanger founder Robert Laner emphasized: „Its all about positivity“. Once again this year, a donation of over 100,000 euros was expected for the Alexander Zverev Foundation.
The WorldChanger event: a three-part spectacle
The event, which sees itself as the biggest force for positive change, consisted of three parts: A tennis tournament with Alexander Zverev for a good cause, the WorldChanger Challenges, in which positive tips were passed on to viewers at home via the participants' channels, and an evening networking event for all participating WorldChangers.
Prominent guests and sporting highlights
This year's tournament was accompanied by an impressive list of celebrity guests. In addition to Alexander Zverev, tennis legend Boris Becker, winter sports icon Maria Höfl-Riesch, TV star Palina Rojinski, actor Mark Keller, football stars Serge Gnabry and Claudio Pizarro, presenters Victoria Swarovski and Knossi as well as influencer Pamela Reif and many more were on site. In total, the participants have more than 400 million followers on social media.
A day full of highlights
The tournament day began with a warm welcome from Robert Laner and Alexander Zverev. Dr. Peter Mrosik and Creator Clemens Brock opened the „Kömmerling Window of the Future“ in a challenge. A special highlight was the warm-up with fitness influencer Pamela Reif, followed by the exciting WorldChanger Playground Charity Tennis Tournament. Spectacular challenges on the Stanglwirt grounds, including a 50-metre-high lifting platform from which the participants threw positivity down onto the world, rounded off the day. In the evening, a rustic barbecue at the Stanglwirt Chalet Hüttling Moos provided culinary delights. The „hay couch talk“ between Hans Sigl, Alexander Zverev and Robert Laner offered inspiring insights into dealing with diabetes and the importance of the right mindset.
