Artgerechte Food Facts
Mint: The characteristic essential oil menthol, the secondary plant substances and the enzymes contained in mint have an antibacterial, antiviral and antispasmodic effect.
Lemons have a high content of vitamins, especially vitamin C, trace elements and secondary plant substances. They also activate liver enzymes that can help us detoxify.
Ginger is rich in secondary plant substances that actively support our immune system. It has an anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, metabolism-regulating and anti-diabetic effect. It is particularly good for treating digestive complaints, pain and colds. In addition, its intense flavor makes you feel full sooner.
Honey has been considered a natural remedy for thousands of years and is known for its effect against pathogens such as viruses and bacteria. Manuka honey works best here – its high methylglyoxal content (MGO) makes it unique. In general, the darker the honey, the higher the pinostrobin content.
