Wissenswertes über "Thiamine"
Thiamine is one of the water-soluble B vitamins. It is also known as vitamin B1.
Thiamine in pyrophosphate form has important functions as a coenzyme in decarboxylation. It is an essential micronutrient, which means that the body cannot produce it itself and it must therefore be taken in regularly through food. Without sufficient thiamine, the body cannot efficiently convert carbohydrates into energy, which can lead to energy loss and fatigue.
