Bone marrow stimulation refers to medical interventions designed to increase the activity of the bone marrow and promote the production of blood cells. The bone marrow is the soft tissue found inside certain bones and is responsible for producing all types of blood cells: red blood cells (erythrocytes), white blood cells (leukocytes), and platelets (thrombocytes). When this system is impaired or requires targeted support, bone marrow stimulation procedures are used.
