Curry leaf extract is obtained from the leaves of the curry tree (Murraya koenigii), which is mainly native to India and Southeast Asia. Curry leaf extract has anti-inflammatory properties, which are mediated by the inhibition of pro-inflammatory enzymes such as cyclooxygenase (COX) and lipoxygenase (LOX). The leaves are also a rich source of carotenoids, beta-carotene, calcium and iron.
