Wissenswertes über "Retinol"
Retinol is a form of vitamin A and belongs to the group of retinoids.
Retinol is often used in skincare, especially in anti-ageing products, as it improves skin structure and promotes cell regeneration. By converting in the skin into retinoic acid, retinol acts directly on the skin cells and stimulates collagen production. This reduces fine lines and wrinkles, improves skin elasticity and combats blemishes. Retinol also promotes cell renewal and can lighten pigmentation spots, refining the skin's overall appearance.
Retinol is primarily used in anti-ageing skincare to reduce wrinkles and wrinkles, combat acne and clogged pores and improve the overall appearance of the skin. Caution is advised when using retinol: It should be applied to cleansed skin in the evening to minimise sun sensitivity. A slow familiarisation, e.g. initially only once or twice a week, is recommended to avoid skin irritations such as dryness, redness or flaking. Sun protection should always be used during the day when using retinol, as retinol makes the skin more sensitive to light overall.
