The stinging nettle (Urtica dioica) is one of the oldest and most versatile medicinal plants in Europe.

Despite its defence-oriented exterior with stinging hairs, stinging nettle is rich in bioactive ingredients such as vitamin C,iron,potassium,calcium, silicon, flavonoids and secondary plant substances. Stinging nettle leaves, roots and seeds are used in various forms:

as tea, fresh plant juice, extract, capsule or tincture.
