Citricidal is the brand name of a grapefruit seed extract (GKE) obtained from the seeds, peel and membranes of grapefruit and marketed as a natural antimicrobial agent.

Citricidal is often used to treat bacterial, viral and fungal infections, to strengthen the immune system and for intestinal sanitation. In complementary medicine, it is considered a herbal alternative to antibiotics and is used orally, externally or for disinfection. The active ingredient complex it contains consists of bioflavonoids, ascorbic acid and various polyphenols, which are said to have a broad-spectrum effect against pathogenic microorganisms - including Candida albicans, E. coli, Staphylococcus aureus and parasites.
