The femoral artery is a common access point for diagnostic and interventional procedures such as cardiac catheterization, coronary angiography, and peripheral vascular interventions. Femoral Nerve and Nerve Injuries
Damage to the femoral nerve can result in weakness of the quadriceps muscle, making it difficult to straighten the knee or climb stairs.
