Bioidentical hormones are substances whose chemical structure is exactly the same as the hormones naturally produced by the human body. This distinguishes them from synthetic hormones, which have a slightly different chemical structure.

Bioidentical hormones are primarily used in hormone replacement therapy (HRT), particularly for:

Mechanism of Action
