What Is Gonarthrosis?
Gonarthrosis is a degenerative disease of the knee joint in which the articular cartilage gradually breaks down. This leads to pain, stiffness, and reduced mobility. It is one of the most common joint diseases and primarily affects people over the age of 50. Gonarthrosis therapy aims to relieve symptoms, slow the progression of the disease, and improve the quality of life of those affected.
Causes of Gonarthrosis
Gonarthrosis can develop for a variety of reasons:
- Primary gonarthrosis: Age-related cartilage wear without a specific underlying disease
